Quick Polenta

Polenta is one of the most versatile but under-utilised staples in the modern kitchen.  It is great value for money.   Polenta is a gluten-free maize meal typical of the North of Italy and the mountainous regions of the Alps. Our quick polenta only needs 3 to 5 minutes until it’s ready.  It can be used straight from the pan or it can be poured into a container, left to cool and solidify, then cut into triangles or thick chip shapes which can be frozen or kept in the fridge – and then used when needed, heating in the oven or grill giving the polenta a slightly crispy outer.
